The Spanish Language Immersion Program through SUNY Brockport is conducted at the Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies at the Universidad Internacional in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Centro Bilingue specializes in teaching Spanish to non-native speakers. The school is arranged around a lovely tropical garden with a swimming pool, a small cafeteria, a library, and e-mail facilities. The Brockport Cuernavaca Program is an intensive program in Spanish language and Latin American Studies.

Internships through El Centro Bilingue are also available and can accommodate most majors. Internships are made in both the private and public sector and offer a variety of roles for a variety of majors. Cuernavaca is a resort city and capital city of the State of Morelos, about 50 minutes from Mexico City. It is a small city with approximately 400,000 inhabitants and has many advantages of a large city. Because of the mild climate year-round, it is known as "The City of Eternal Spring."
