For a total of 18 US credit hours.
If not participating in an internship placement, participants can take 3 or 4 additional courses (usually three courses).
Students can expect an assignment in one of the 500 leading national or international organization with whom we have agreements, relating to their chosen major. In the past students have completed assignments in the organizations such as Siemens, Vodafone, Barclays, Ernst and Young, Warner Brothers Movie World Madrid, Antenna 3 (National TV channel), Radio Television Espanola (State Radio and Television), Phillips, CocaCola and CNN+, and Microsoft.
Students have the opportunity to take part in our "Spain through the Ages" program, consisting in two day trips to places such as Avila, El Escorial, Segovia, Toledo and Salamanca, From the Romans to the EU, you will have the opportunity to visit cities that have played a key role in Spain's cultural heritage (i.e., Segovia, Avila, Toledo and El Escorial). Optional excursions to places such as Barcelona, Granada and Sevilla can be arranged upon request.
There is also a weekly activities program offering a wide range of cultural and extracurricular activities. Students have the opportunity to take part in at least two activities/week, for example film forum, visit to the Prado Museum, visit to the Spanish Stock Exchange or a night at a stand up comedy show.
