Fees for the Brockport Canterbury Program
NOTE: There is an additional $400.00 (est.) site visitation fee for the Social Work Field Placement credit program.

INCLUDES:
TUITION (at Brockport and at University of Canterbury in most Arts, Commerce, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Forestry, Law, Music and Science course work), HOUSING Tier 1 Housing: Single self-catered accommodation at Manuka standard, Kowhal premium, Hinau Superior or Ilam Apartments,
- Tier 2 Housing: Single catered accommodation at Bishop Julius, College House, Rochester & Rutherford or University Hall,
Housing security deposit, Program acceptance fee, Pre-departure orientation materials, advisement and counseling, On-site orientation upon arrival at the University of Canterbury, The International Student Identity Card, and Brockport's Value-Added Services. NOTE: If Tier 1 housing is not available, students will automatically be placed in Tier 2 housing.

New Zealand Visa Fee Health Insurance* Meals Passport Various campus-specific fees** (Student Government, Technology Fees, etc.) Airfare to and from New Zealand Textbooks Personal Expenses Local Travel As a very rough guide, a participant in the Brockport University of Canterbury Program will need around A$400 to A$500 per month to pay for daily local travel, textbooks and other school supplies, entertainment, meals and other necessities.
This estimate does not include the purchase of clothing; travel in New Zealand outside of the excursions/field trips organized by the program. The group flight will cost participants approximately $1,800 (depending on departure/return dates, the point of origin of any connecting flights in the US, etc.). The actual amount that you will spend depends heavily on your style of living, and will vary with each individual's personal spending habits, entertainment preferences and travel choices. *Financial aid applies towards fees.
*For Visa purposes, all New Zealand study abroad students MUST purchase the mandatory insurance coverage (presently $185.00 per semester).
