Participants in the Brockport Special Education Program normally earn 3 credit hours, graduate or undergraduate.

Activities:

School Visits:

Arrangements will be made for visits to special education facilities as well as comprehensive schools with inclusive programs. Wherever possible, visits will be planned to meet particular interests. In addition to classroom observations, conversations are usually possible with administrators and teaching staff.

Conference:

The group will attend the annual conference of the Irish Association of Teachers of Special Education (IATSE). Ample time and opportunity will be available to mingle and exchange ideas with conference participants.
