Junior or Senior standing by the start of the program.
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
A GPA of 3.25 in an appropriate major.
The demonstrated ability to do upper-division work in the subjects chosen.

The academic year at the University of Westminster consists of two fifteen week semesters. Additionally, a three week Christmas vacation bisects the fall semester, with a similar length Easter vacation intervening in the spring semester. Participants attending for the fall semester only will need to make arrangements with their instructors to complete their assessment via a written research paper before they leave for holidays, in place of their January examinations. This arrangement allows participation in the Brockport Program for either the fall, spring or the full academic year.
