Admission Requirements:

A prospective participant should have:

  • Two years of college Spanish or the equivalent;
  • GPA of 2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale; and
  • Must be able to demonstrate purposefulness and maturity via a study statement and references.

    Application Deadlines:

  • For Fall Semester: 1 April
  • For Full Academic Year: 1 April
  • For Spring Semester: 1 November

    2005-2006 Term Dates:

  • Fall 2005 Semester: Late August 2005 - Early December 2005
  • Spring 2006 Semester: Early January 2006 - Late April 2006

    There are two fifteen-week semesters in Brockport's Costa Rica Program. In the fall this is from late August until early December; in the spring the program runs from early January until late April.
