(Four credits per course will be awarded if students opt for the fourth course at the stated additional charge).

    Curriculum:

Participants on Brockport's Middlesex University program will select a full load of Middlesex courses prior to departure.

All instruction in Brockport's Middlesex University program is by Middlesex University faculty and participants are examined in the same manner, and to the same standard, as their British classmates. The majority of courses they enroll in are examined formally at the end of the semester and in order to be awarded credit, participants must take--and--pass the examination at the end of the study period.

Volunteer Leadership, Enterprise and Citizenship Award:

Middlesex University offers a unique opportunity to undertake valuable volunteering work while at the same time being recognized with a Service Learning UK Leadership, Enterprise and Citizenship Award which allows participants to:

  • Add an extra layer to their study abroad experience.
  • Develop essential life and work skills.
  • Enhance their CV and job prospects.
  • Inspire, motivate, and share their passion within the community.

For more information about volunteering while studying abroad email: studyabroad@mdx.ac.uk.

    Internships:

Participants in Brockport's Middlesex University program are eligible to participate in a number of part-time internships arranged for them by Middlesex University. These internships are generally equal to 8 US credits. Internships are available in either Business or Health and Social Science areas.
