Housing:
Participants in Brockport's Program at the University of Leeds will be offered on-campus housing by the Accommodation Office at the University of Leeds.
Participants will usually be offered a choice of halls. Traditional-style residence hall accommodation will be in a single-study bedroom. The other choice is self-contained University-owned apartments, which consist of a single-study bedroom, each apartment having its own kitchen with en suite bathroom facilities.
It is our expectation that many of the meals will be prepared in the accommodations at Leeds. The University has several on-campus dining rooms (ranging from cafeteria-style, self-service restaurants to sit-down, full-service restaurants), and it is expected that a significant number of the meals not prepared by participants or eaten in hall will be eaten in these.
Orientation:
An Orientation Program (conducted by the University of Leeds Office of the International Education) is a compulsory part of each semester's program, and is mandatory for participants in the Brockport University of Leeds Program. Students will be expected to arrive in England in time to begin their studies with this Orientation Program.
Shortly after the conclusion of the Orientation Program, participants will begin their academic course work. Participants will have selected and received approval for their selection of courses (with advisement) prior to their departure.
