Courses:

The website: http://www.leeds.ac.uk/qmeu/studyabroad.htm enables you to see the classes available at Leeds. Please note that, as the website indicates, there are restrictions and requirements for some classes, and not every class is offered every semester.

Credits:

Participants in the Brockport University of Leeds Program will normally earn four credit hours for each course successfully completed at the University of Leeds, for a maximum of sixteen credits per semester.

Curriculum:

Participants in the Brockport University of Leeds Program will select (prior to departure) four courses from the more than 900 courses available to study abroad students at the University of Leeds. All instruction in the Brockport University of Leeds Program is by University of Leeds faculty.

Participants in the Brockport University of Leeds Program are examined in the same manner (and to the same standard) as their British counterparts and classmates. The majority of classes in which they will enroll are examined formally at the end of the semester and in order to be awarded credit, participants must take--and pass-- the examination at the end of the study period in question.

A typical academic program will consist of fifteen or sixteen credit hours of coursework (earned in four four-credit hour courses). All credits earned in the Brockport University of Leeds Program will be counted towards Brockport undergraduate degree requirements for graduation. Non-SUNY students and students who wish to use these credits for their academic major and/or minor should consult with their home campus academic departments prior to participation. Letter grades for the courses taken will be transmitted to the participant's home campus registrar's office via the SUNY transcript supplement at the conclusion of the semester.
