A prospective student should have:
  • Junior or Senior standing by the start of the program.
  • A cumulative GPA of 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • A GPA of 3.00 in an appropriate major.
  • The demonstrated ability to do upper-division work in the subjects chosen.

Application Deadlines:
  • For Fall Semester: 12 April
  • For Spring Semester: 1 November
  • For Full Academic Year: 12 April

*There is also a short-term program, 6 weeks intensive, 15 June - 24 July 2009. Study abroad students who wish to take 2 semesters' worth of academic load in combined semester/intensive mode can enroll to take the short-term program either after semester 1 (February-June) or before semester 2 (late July-early November).       The academic year at the University of Adelaide consists of two fifteen week semesters. Participants in the Brockport University of Adelaide Program may enroll for the fall, spring, or for the full academic year.
